Renal Patient Led Advisory Network (North West)

RPLAN NW (Renal Patient Led Advisory Network North West) is a group made up of renal patients attending various units across North West England.

Our lived experience aims to cover every aspect of chronic kidney disease and renal replacement therapy (CKD, transplant, in-centre dialysis, home haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, prevention of CKD and acute kidney injury – AKI) and we are currently looking for some new members to ensure we do this as effectively as possible.

Our aims include:

  • Supporting strategic direction from the North West NHS England Renal Network Meetings with lived experience voices
  • Provides a forum to raise strategic importance to the North West Renal Network Meetings
  • Developing future patient leaders within the region.

Our regular meetings take place on a monthly basis (via Teams), but additional meetings might be required as and when. At the moment all of RPLAN’s work takes place virtually, so no travel costs are applicable.

For an informal chat and further information about joining RPLAN, please email Leeanne Lockley before June 3rd 2021.

You can also find more information about RPLAN’s work on FacebookTwitter and Instagram.
