Transplant Patient Referral Programme Design

We would like to invite you to participate in an advisory panel as a patient and public (PPI) representative. The intention of the panel is to gather opinions from patients, families, and carers about a new research project which will design a referral programme for transplant patients.

We have not designed or formulated the details of the referral programme yet as we would value your input at this early stage. We anticipate that your involvement will include:

  • Informal discussions to understand your experiences of self-management and quality of life including your experiences of existing referral programmes and the challenges associated with living a healthy lifestyle.
  • Gaining your feedback on developing a self-management support programme that emphasises connectedness and social networks.
  • Collaborative discussions on the practical aspects of the research and whether this raises any difficulties for patients.

Each of the three panels will be conducted online on the 4th, 5th, and 6th August 2021 respectively. Each panel will take place at 6pm (BST) and will last approximately 1 hour.

As a thank you for taking part in the advisory panel we will provide each attendee a £20 Amazon voucher at the end of the session.

If you would like to take part or know someone else who would, please contact Carl Bescoby c.r.r.bescoby@bath.ac.uk via email before August 3rd.
