This research explores well-being and adherence to immunosuppression medication in kidney transplant recipients, and everybody with a current kidney transplant is encouraged to take part.
This study is in two phases.
Phase 1 involves completing 3 questionnaires: one now, one in 6 months and one at 12 months. Questionnaires will ask about participant demographics/clinical characteristics, wellbeing, medication-taking behaviour, transplant perceptions and medication beliefs.
After completion of the first questionnaire, there will be the opportunity to take part in an interview with one of the research team (Phase 2), to explore participant’s experiences of taking immunosuppression and how these impact medication-taking behaviour.
The research team are holding a monthly prize draw to win one of 5 x £20 Amazon vouchers on completion of each Phase 1 questionnaire. After completion of a Phase 2 interview, participants will be sent a £20 Amazon voucher (if they wish) as a thank you.
